Poland Winter Walking Tour in 4K - WARSAW 2023

Warsaw - One of the most dynamically developing European cities, with immense potential, extraordinary energy, and a rich history. Many consider it a city with two faces, featuring numerous historic buildings that harmoniously coexist with modern architecture. Above the red roofs of the Old Town's structures, modern glass skyscrapers rise, some of the tallest in the European Union. Warsaw is the largest city in Poland with a population of approximately 1.86 million. Warsaw surprises every visitor, and one surely cannot get bored here. You'll find sandy beaches, bike paths, and excellent conditions for water sports. Green areas cover almost half of the city's area. There are 95 parks here, with the Royal Baths Park leading the way. Undoubtedly, the heart of the capital is the Old Town, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Unfortunately, due to World War II, it was practically leveled to the ground, but in later years, it was faithfully reconstructed, showcasing iconic landmarks such as the Royal Castle, St. John's Archcathedral, and Sigismund's Column. Strolling through the Old Town, you can admire a carefully recreated collection of Baroque and Renaissance architecture, along with charming cobblestone streets and bustling squares. The Market Square is adorned with pastel-colored townhouses and the symbolic sculpture of the Warsaw Mermaid in the center. Currently, there is a Christmas Market and an ice rink built around the Mermaid monument in the square. The Old Town is also illuminated with numerous Christmas decorations and an impressive Christmas tree. Poland Winter Walking Tour in 4K - KARPACZ 2023

Here is one of the most popular mountain towns in the Polish Sudetes, the incredibly charming ski resort - Karpacz. We start this walk at the "Mining Trail" monument on Obrońców Pokoju (Defenders of Peace) Street, then proceed along the main promenade towards the Wang Temple. Karpacz was granted city rights only in 1960, despite having a population of around 4600 people. Every year, it attracts thousands of tourists from both Poland and abroad, mainly due to its picturesque location at the foot of the mountains, with the impressive peak of "Śnieżka" - 1602 meters above sea level. This place offers countless opportunities to spend leisure time, with dozens of kilometers of hiking trails and scenic paths for lovers of pedestrian excursions. For winter sports enthusiasts, there are also excellent conditions for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. Even in the summer, you can enjoy year-round toboggan runs. Karpacz is also a paradise for enthusiasts of climbing, quads, and extreme sports. After an active day full of experiences, you can relax in the city, where there are museums with fascinating exhibitions, swimming pools, and SPA zones. The city also offers entertainment in the form of bowling alleys, discos, charming restaurants, and stylish cafes. Regardless of preferences, everyone will find something for themselves here. Karpacz is a place that is incredibly attractive both in summer and winter. At any time of the year, it is worth coming here. The video was recorded on December 2023.
