  Here is one of the most popular mountain towns in the Polish Sudetes, the incredibly charming ski resort - Karpacz . We start this walk at the "Mining Trail" monument on Obrońców Pokoju (Defenders of Peace) Street, then proceed along the main promenade towards the Wang Temple. Karpacz was granted city rights only in 1960, despite having a population of around 4600 people. Every year, it attracts thousands of tourists from both Poland and abroad, mainly due to its picturesque location at the foot of the mountains, with the impressive peak of "Śnieżka" - 1602 meters above sea level. This place offers countless opportunities to spend leisure time, with dozens of kilometers of hiking trails and scenic paths for lovers of pedestrian excursions. For winter sports enthusiasts, there are also excellent conditions for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. Even in the summer, you can enjoy year-round toboggan runs.
