Poland Walking Tour in 4k - ZYWIEC

This walking tour was recorded in Żywiec on a beautiful spring day in May 2024. The town is located in southern Poland, in the Silesian Voivodeship, in the deep intermontane depression – the Żywiec Basin, on the confluence of the Sola and Koszarawa rivers near the city center, and on Lake Żywieckie, at an altitude of about 345–350 meters above sea level. In 2022, the city had 29,878 inhabitants. The name " Żywiec " is known to every inhabitant of Poland; the town has been famous for centuries for its beer production, but it has much more to offer! Żywiec is often called the capital of the Beskids; it is an important tourist and recreational center as well as the center of one of the most beautiful and ethnographically interesting regions in Poland – the Żywiec Lands. Settlement in these areas dates back to prehistoric times. Traces of settlement from 2500 years ago have been found here.
