Poland Walking Tour in 4k - JELENIA GORA

Jelenia Góra (in english Deer Mountain) is a beautiful city picturesquely located in Lower Silesia in southwestern Poland, with a history dating back to the 13th century. It is the administrative, tourist, and economic center of the region, boasting a population of around 75,000 people. Situated in the Jeleniogórska (DeerMountain) Valley, in the valley of the Bóbr and Kamienna rivers, at an altitude of approximately 353 meters above sea level, it is surrounded by majestic mountain ranges such as the Izera Mountains, the Kaczawskie Mountains, the Rudawy Janowickie, and the Karkonosze Mountains. From the vantage points, one can easily see Śnieżka, Szrenica, and other peaks. Known as the Pearl of the Karkonosze, it harmoniously combines history with modernity, offering unforgettable experiences and numerous attractions for everyone! Additionally, the proximity to the border makes it easy and quick to reach both the Czech Republic and Germany from here. The nearest border crossing with Germany is 60 km away, and with the Czech Republic - only 25 km. While strolling through the Old Town, you can admire historic tenement houses, churches, and the beautiful Market Square surrounded by 55 colorful arcaded houses. The central point of the market square is the classicist Town Hall and the Neptune Fountain, symbolizing Jelenia Góra's historical connections with maritime countries. The Basilica of St. Erasmus and St. Pancras, known for its Baroque architecture, also deserves special attention. I start my walking tour from the Sanctuary of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, an enormous church that is a testament to the incredible wealth of Jelenia Góra's townspeople in the early 18th century. This is a gem on a regional scale. Enjoy watching the walking tour in 4K Ultra HD quality with captions here: https://youtu.be/lAFNIWmrJCc
