Switzerland Walking Tour in 4k - BRIENZ

Another extraordinary walking tour, this time through the town of Brienz in Switzerland, located amidst picturesque and towering mountains at the eastern end of the turquoise lake of the same name, Brienzersee. The town is situated at an altitude of approximately 566 meters above sea level at the foot of Brienzer Rothorn (2348 meters above sea level), while to the south of the lake lies the Schwarzhorn peak (2928 meters above sea level). Charming Brienz is renowned for its woodcarving tradition, enjoying a long history of woodworking craftsmanship. To this day, the town hosts a woodcarving and violin-making school. It also has a well-developed tourism infrastructure and serves as an excellent base for excursions throughout the Bernese Oberland, to the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum, and to Lucerne and Interlaken, or for exploring nearby Alpine passes. Currently, around 3,150 people live here permanently, and the municipality covers an area of 5,492 hectares. Evidence of the Alamanni’s presence here in the 7th century AD has been discovered. The most romantic part of Brienz is Brunngasse Street, which we will explore in this video. It was once honored with the title of the "most picturesque street in Europe." The street is also well-known internationally. Most houses on this street date back to the 18th century and are adorned with wooden carvings, flowers, and Swiss flags. Our walking tour begins on the hill where the Reformed Church stands. We will then descend to the main street, Hauptstrasse, and continue through the famous Brunngasse Street before taking another street, Alpgasse, down toward Lake Brienzersee. After a short walk along the lakeside promenade, we will return to Hauptstrasse, heading toward the train station. Finally, we will return to the promenade, heading eastward through the town and concluding our walk at the bridge over the Glyssibach outlet near the municipal building. Czech Republic Walking Tour in 4k - KLADNO

A walking tour through the charming town of Kladno in the Czech Republic, located just 25 km west of Prague. This small town has a population of 69,078 and covers an area of approximately 37 km². The first written mention of the town dates back to the early 14th century when it was a larger village with a church and a fortress that served as the seat of the local noble family, the Kladen family of Kladno. Around the mid-19th century, the agricultural town and its surroundings underwent a turbulent transformation into a significant industrial area due to the development of coal mining and metallurgy. From the early 1950s, the town experienced unprecedented growth, accompanied by an influx of workers, which rapidly increased its population. Today, Kladno is the 13th largest city in the Czech Republic, featuring a beautiful town center and several important historical landmarks. The tour begins in the town square at the heart of the city, where the historic Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the Marian Column stand. From there, we’ll walk along Masaryk Street, considered the main promenade in the town. Enjoy watching the walking tour in 4K Ultra HD quality with captions!
