But Busko-Zdroj is not just about healing waters – it's also home to the atmospheric Spa Park, featuring the historic Marconi building and the new Spa House, both forming the heart of the resort. The town’s main attraction is the impressive brine graduation tower, offering not only health-enhancing inhalations but also a peaceful place to relax. Be sure to stroll down the Avenue of Stars near the Marconi building or along the main promenade, visit the Spa Chapel dedicated to St. Anne, or sit back and enjoy the mesmerizing dance of water streams at the fountain next to the graduation tower. Along the way, we will see the town square, the promenade (Adam Mickiewicz Avenue), 1 Maja Street, the Spa Chapel of St. Anne, the Spa Park, the Brine Graduation Tower, the monument to Jan Rokosz, and we will end this special walk near the pedestrian-bicycle bridge by the “Rafał” Sanatorium. Slovakia Walking Tour in 4k - BARDEJOVSKE KUPELE

 

A spring walking tour in 2025 through one of the oldest and most beautiful spa resorts in Slovakia, named Bardejovske Kupele, located approximately 6 km from the town of Bardejov at an altitude of about 325 meters above sea level. It lies in a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful setting surrounded by coniferous and deciduous forests, near the Magura mountain range, which also protects the town from northern winds and weather changes. It is also part of the town of Bardejov and attracts a large number of visitors. The true and most valuable treasure of the spa is its rare sources of natural healing mineral waters, which, due to their unique properties, are among the most important in Europe. They are mainly used for drinking cures, inhalations, mineral baths, and oral cavity irrigations. The cultural and social life of the spa is rich and diverse – every year it hosts the International Summer of Music. Other pleasant attractions include a cinema, various exhibitions of sculptures, paintings, and flowers, as well as the Museum of Folk Architecture – an open-air museum where visitors can admire the treasures of folk art from eastern Slovakia, particularly the Upper Šariš region. Relaxation is enhanced by green parks with attractive garden design, well-maintained hiking trails, and a summer swimming pool. Walking tour begins in the lower part of the spa near the main parking lot and the Žriedlo cinema, where a metal gazebo with a map of the spa has been installed. From there, we will head uphill through Bardejovske Kupele, where we’ll visit the most important landmarks such as the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Church of St. Great Martyr Panteleimon, the Mineral Water Drinking Hall, the Astória Spa House, and the Alžbeta Spa House. Then, we’ll also visit the local open-air museum – the Museum of Folk Architecture – and stroll along the pathways to the wooden Friendship Bridge (Lávka priateľstva) in the upper part of the spa town.
