Another walking tour through in Strbske Pleso, one of the most picturesque places in the Slovak High Tatras. This charming spa village and ski resort, situated on the shores of a mountain lake, is a true gem of the Slovak Tatras. Located at an altitude of approximately 1,346 meters above sea level, Štrbské Pleso has attracted tourists from all over the world for years with its beauty, crystal-clear air, and excellent conditions for active recreation. From there, climbing the stairs, we emerge onto Kupeľna Street, where the historic Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras proudly stands, a symbol of luxury and elegance. Continuing our walk, we reach the main attraction – Strbske Pleso Lake. Along its shore, we'll admire the Poseidon Statue, the picturesque Vyhliadkové Mólo (viewing pier), and the boat rental, where you can enjoy popular boat trips on the lake. The lake's shores and the walking path around it are adorned with numerous wooden sculptures, depicting forest creatures and other monuments that add charm to the landscape. After a short walk along the lakeshore, we'll turn onto a forest path leading through the Rašelinisko nature reserve, a peat bog area of exceptional ecological importance. Then, along the asphalt road K Vodopadom, we'll reach the second part of the town, where you'll find the impressive Tatras Tower, the historic Ski Jumping Hill, and a small concert shell, where various events take place.
