Croatia Walking Tour in 4k - KOLOCEP

An extraordinary walk through one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic Sea, Koločep, which belongs to the Elaphiti Archipelago. These islands are known as jewels of nature and sea in southern Croatia. The Elaphiti Archipelago includes a total of 13 islands, 10 of which are uninhabited. Kolocep Island is the closest to Dubrovnik, located just about 4 kilometers to the northwest. The island is graced with century-old olive groves, shaded palm trees, and the scents of pine forests. It also has one of Croatia's rare sandy beaches. The island has a permanent population of only about 150 people and covers an area of 2.439 square kilometers. There is no car traffic here; you’ll only find small agricultural vehicles or light golf carts. It’s an incredibly peaceful place, where the only sounds are cicadas and the murmur of the sea. Our walking tour begins at Kolocep Port, and we’ll head up through the village and island. We will then see the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and make our way down to the promenade, or rather, the path that runs along the bay. The walk concludes at the sandy Ingalo Beach, located near the TUI Blue Kalamota Island hotel. Enjoy watching the walking tour in 4K Ultra HD quality with captions here: https://youtu.be/HxSD_wmUQtU

Croatia Walking Tour in 4k - CAVTAT

A walking tour of one of the most beautiful, charming, and also one of the warmest towns in Croatia, located at the very tip of the country. The town of Cavtat has also been recognized as the most exclusive travel destination in Europe, often compared to the French Saint-Tropez and the Italian Tuscany. The town is situated in southern Croatia, less than 20 km from Dubrovnik. It is picturesquely located on a narrow peninsula jutting into the Adriatic Sea, covered with Mediterranean vegetation, while on the other side rises the impressive Sniježnica massif (1234 meters above sea level). Cavtat is a wonderful place for family vacations, as well as solo or group trips with friends, home to around 2,000 permanent residents, offering visitors peace, tranquility, beautiful historical sites, and numerous attractions. The history of Cavtat dates back to ancient times when a Greek colony, Epidaurus, was founded here in the 6th century BC. In 228 BC, the Romans took over the area and renamed it Epidaurum. In the 7th century AD, the city was destroyed by the Avars and Slavs, and in the Middle Ages (from 1427 onwards), Cavtat became part of the Republic of Ragusa. At that time, the town was separated from the mainland by a canal, and city walls, 270 meters long, were built, which were demolished in 1894. The walking tour begins at Sustjepan Beach, from where we will head through the town center to the second bay, where the boat dock, bus station, and Cavtat Beach are located. From this spot, we will return to the town center, where we will see the Church of St. Nicholas and walk along the promenade, before delving into the narrow streets of the town. After visiting the Monastery of Our Lady of the Snow, we will head up the hill to admire the breathtaking view of Cavtat and visit Mausoleum of the Račić family and the cemetery of St. Roch. Croatia Walking Tour in 4k - DUBROVNIK

An extraordinary walking tour through one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and certainly on the Adriatic Sea! Welcome to Dubrovnik, a city entirely listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a history that, according to some sources, dates back as far as 6000 years before Christ. One of the most visited cities in Croatia, considered the Pearl of the Adriatic, it also served as a filming location for the Game of Thrones series.

Located in the southern part of Dalmatia, built on rocky slopes and naturally protected from the sea by the island of Lokrum, Dubrovnik boasts well-preserved monuments from centuries ago and enjoys an excellent Mediterranean climate. It has more than 250 sunny days a year, with an average annual temperature of 17°C. Even in winter, Dubrovnik bathes in sunshine, with blossoming and ripe oranges and lemons. The outdoor swimming season begins as early as April, and sometimes even earlier. It lasts until the end of October, and sometimes even longer. This time, we start our walking tour a bit differently, as we will first embark on a ship on the Adriatic Sea and sail into the old town harbor of Dubrovnik. We will then head towards Fort Revelin and the Ploče Gate, and later stroll down the main promenade, Stradun Street, towards the Great Onofrio's Fountain and the Pile Gate. Afterward, we will return to the old town to see the famous historical staircase, the Church of St. Ignatius, the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Cathedral, the Minčeta Tower, and the city walls. We will end the walking tour in Pile Park at the Nikola Mihanović Fountain with a view of Mount Srđ.
