Croatia Walking Tour in 4k - KOLOCEP

 

An extraordinary walk through one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic Sea, Koločep, which belongs to the Elaphiti Archipelago. These islands are known as jewels of nature and sea in southern Croatia. The Elaphiti Archipelago includes a total of 13 islands, 10 of which are uninhabited. Kolocep Island is the closest to Dubrovnik, located just about 4 kilometers to the northwest. The island is graced with century-old olive groves, shaded palm trees, and the scents of pine forests. It also has one of Croatia's rare sandy beaches. The island has a permanent population of only about 150 people and covers an area of 2.439 square kilometers. There is no car traffic here; you’ll only find small agricultural vehicles or light golf carts. It’s an incredibly peaceful place, where the only sounds are cicadas and the murmur of the sea. Our walking tour begins at Kolocep Port, and we’ll head up through the village and island. We will then see the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and make our way down to the promenade, or rather, the path that runs along the bay.
