The beautifully situated mountain town of Szklarska Poręba is the largest winter sports center in the Polish Sudetes and the largest climatic resort in Lower Silesia, known and valued since the mid-19th century. The town is surrounded by two beautiful mountain ranges and divided by the valley of a mountain river. The main advantage of the town is the long-lasting snow cover, which is present here on average for 110 days a year, making it a true paradise for all winter sports enthusiasts. It is also home to one of the most beautiful spots in the Karkonosze Mountains, namely the Kamieńczyk Waterfall.
