Croatia Walking Tour in 4k - LOPUD

Another fantastic walking tour on one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic Sea, which also belongs to the Elaphiti Archipelago and is called Lopud. These islands are known as jewels of nature and the sea in southern Croatia. The Elaphiti Archipelago comprises a total of 13 islands, 10 of which are uninhabited. Lopud Island is located about 14 kilometers northwest of Dubrovnik. The island features a single village, also named Lopud, offering both the tranquility of island life, numerous historical attractions, and excellent swimming spots with sandy beaches. The island and its village have a permanent population of only around 220 people, covering an area of 4.377 km². There is no car traffic here; only small vehicles used for agriculture or light golf carts can be seen. The island is incredibly peaceful, with only the sound of cicadas and the sea, and a warm breeze among wild orange trees. It exudes the charm of a small Mediterranean universe, where time seems to flow much more slowly. Our walking tour begins at the port in Lopud, heading uphill to the fortified Franciscan Monastery from 1483 and the Church of St. Mary of Spilica. We’ll then stroll along the bay promenade and see the town’s main attractions, such as the Ducal Palace, the Botanical Garden known as Đorđić Mayneri Park, and the Church of St. Nicholas at the Dominican Monastery. We’ll conclude our tour at the Lafodia Hotel & Resort. Enjoy watching the walking tour in 4K Ultra HD quality with captions here: https://youtu.be/ZgvlwU7248s
